Hey everyone! My name is Amber and I am from Kennesaw, GA. My husband graduated from boot camp at Parris Island on December 20, 2009 and is now at MCT at Camp
Geiger with Golf Co. He will be graduating from there on December 29, 2009 and going to his MOS school in Pensacola.
We have been happily married since May 2007. Right now I am in my 5th and final year at Kennesaw State University doing my student teaching to get my bachelors in Early Childhood Education.

Hey do you know if anyone has heard from Doug--he was GaDad when our guys were recruits? I haven't seen him post nor did I see any signs of him at PI.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I did get the standard form letter yesterday from Ben, so I know that he got picked up. He is in Golf Co. and will graduate Dec. 29TH.
He wrote a quick note that he won't start his MOS school until Jan 28Th! I think that means he will be home for almost a month!!! I am excited about that! Who knows how long it will be once he gets to school and after before he will get to come home again.
Have you heard from Derek? Does he know when his MOS school will start? I hope you all will get alot of time together!!!
Thank you so much for listening and offering to help me out. If you EVER need anything, don't hesitate to email or CALL me!! I mean that will all my heart. I am not working right now. I am home all day.

Hi Amber,
Ben's last name is Larsen. You know they don't call each other by their first names, if you can ask Derek if Larsen is training with him, I would so appreciate you asking him.
I am not sure how well the mail is going to run. Ben doesn't have a cell phone, YET!! I am going to ask him to please get one once he gets to Pensacola. He left with 3 other guys from their PI platoon. I gave all their Mom's my phone number and email, but no one called or emailed me.
My fault I should have gotten their numbers,
too.
Are you using the address they said to use? I know I am asking so many questions from you, but I didn't ask enough when they were at PI and it caused me so much sadness. I hope it is okay, if it isn't please forgive me. And don't be afraid to let me know. I don't want to be know as a pest.
